NRF Advances Food For Future Generation Project Supporting UNSDGs Goals in Over 100 Communities
NR Instant Produce Public Company Limited or NRF has launched the Food For Future Generation project under the concept of "Delicious and Spreading Happiness to Communities". This initiative aims to assist underprivileged individuals and those facing food shortages in various areas amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past year, the company has provided plant-based food and nutritious meals to more than 100 communities, totaling over 153,000 servings. These include products such as Shinpo soy milk, spicy Sriracha sauce, shrimp paste, crab fat, stir-fried chili with holy basil, ready-to-use tom yum seasoning, and vegetarian curry paste under the brand name 'Por Kwan'.
This outreach to assist the underprivileged aligns with two UNSDGs: Goal 2, Zero Hunger, aiming for a world free from hunger, through continuous food and beverage distribution activities in Bangkok and nearby provinces; and Goal 3, Good Health and Well-Being, to ensure good health and well-being for everyone at all ages. Therefore, the company focuses on providing high-protein and beneficial products to the local population. Soon, NRF plans to donate its products to field hospitals in Samut Sakhon province as well.
NRF is committed to supporting communities, creating a better environment, and building a global food network of the future, including national dishes, plant-based proteins, and beneficial supplements, under a sustainable growth strategy that aligns with the goals of UNSDGs.
